After submitting to several open calls over several years, the MTA Arts for Transit staff asked me to be a finalist in competitions for mosaic designs within the New York City subway system. The Times Square site is the most recent and largest site/design, 191st Street preceded the Times Square proposal by two years and the Queens Plaza proposal caught the attention of the MTA staff enough to begin inviting me as a finalist artist for projects.
